I love to see when people use attic space. My favorite thing is when I see attic space used for a vaulted ceiling like above a living room or main living area. It really creates a dramatic effect! The only thing that you need to realize is that when you use attic space, the functional area of the room is going to be much smaller than the size of the floor because of the slope of the ceiling. Take this into account when panning how the room is going to be used and you will really enjoy your new found space.
